In lesson 7 of this series to teach you how to crochet for beginners, you will learn how to increase and decrease, in the ‘traditional’ way. I will show you how to do this with single crochet and double crochet. How to make 2 or 3 stitches from 1 stitch, and how to make 1 stitch from 2 or 3 stitches.
In the videos I also explain how this works when you are simply making rectangular pieces, where the increases and decreases are mainly used for decorative purposes.

In the video I also show 4 examples of patterns that you can practice with. I will include these in my stitch library. These are patterns 3, 4, 5 and 6. (Are they not there yet? Then please be patient, they will be coming soon)
